Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her best roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the drama Precious. Her childhood was lived at Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. Her mother was a film enthusiast and encouraged her to love films as a child. Paula was involved with her school's cocurricular activities and was particularly drawn to drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided acting was the career she wanted to pursue. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the project, she started working as an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Then she began producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of being an actor. She started her acting career with a small character in the romantic comedy film Hitch along with Will Smith. In the years since, she has been on many TV and film shows.
