Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, educator, playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually shifting to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They became engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna was recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton.
